One of the most important tasks which all of us need to do on a daily basis is keeping our homes clean, organized, and to ensure that it functions smoothly.
Let's face it, life takes a hard toll on all of us. Whether it's work, raising kids, or just handling daily house chores- everything we do takes a great deal of energy.

Even if you're single living alone, keeping one's abode fresh, clean, and well-organized is beneficial to your health in every aspect- including good mental health. In fact, many experts today say that house cleaning is therapeutic for the soul.
Giving your house or apartment and good scrub-down is good for your heart and helps the body release good endorphins because of the ample amount of exercise you'll get when cleaning. And house cleaning is a good stress buster too! So, no doubt maintaining a sparkling clean, organized house is a seriously good objective to live by.

Ways to Keep House Clean, Fit, Extraordinary

First of all, when it comes to running a busy household, everyone must be on the same page. Especially if you're a parent with kids, it's vital that every family member understands their role and part is to be an active participant, not a spectator.
Nobody should be doing all the work while others are lazy. As said it takes a village to raise a child, one could also substantiate that it takes an entire family to maintain a clean, well-balanced home. So, if you have kids or a roommate, make sure everyone is ready to do their part in keeping up the home.
Be creative, you can make it fun for kids by giving them at least one designated house chore for the day and reward them with points or extra time to spend on the computer. Adopt the Feng Shui principles on a day to day basis in order to keep your home feeling and looking clean, fresh, and flowing with positive energy. Refresh frequently utilized spaces with updated family-friendly furnishings, cookware, and art.
Make sure bedrooms are naturally well-lit, painted with restful colors, and lightly decorated. Steer away from heavy art and decorating with too many plants. Incorporate interesting décor items like a mini tabletop rock water fountain or scented candles that will fill your space with a tranquility and a zen-like ambiance.
Also, freshen up your home with new paint, flooring, and window treatments. Update furnishings too. Be sure to choose wisely furniture that boasts of simple lines and are family friendly.
Make sure you keep closets clean, linens fresh on a daily basis- always making your bed! And tidy up bathrooms, kitchen areas, and office spaces. Store unused items or décor in airtight storage bins. Keep everyday items like clothing, books, and desk clutter stationed on shelves and in proper storage bins, baskets, or keepsake boxes.
